Privacy Policy
1. Who runs Pixr
Pixr is the service available at pixr.dev and the subdomains listed above. For privacy questions: pixrtmpro@gmail.com.
2. Covered services
- pixr.dev — website, games, proxy and related pages
- search.pixr.dev — Pixr Search
- cloud.pixr.dev — Pixr Cloud (file storage)
- mail.pixr.dev — Pixr Mail
The same Pixr account can be used on Cloud, Search and Mail.
3. Account data
When you create an account or sign in, Pixr may store:
- your email address
- a password hash (if you use email + password)
- if you use “Continue with Google”: the linked Google account id, and optionally the name and profile picture provided by Google
- account creation time and the associated storage quota
- temporary codes or tokens for email verification or password reset
This is used to identify you, secure the account and run the services.
4. Pixr Cloud
Files you upload to Pixr Cloud are stored on Pixr servers so you can view, download or delete them. A storage quota applies depending on the account.
5. Pixr Mail and external mailboxes
Pixr Mail can show mail for your Pixr account. You can also link an external mailbox (Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Outlook or iCloud).
- For Gmail, Outlook or Yahoo via OAuth: Pixr receives access tokens (and a refresh token when provided) to open the mailbox over IMAP. The provider password is not entered on Pixr in that flow.
- For app-password linking (e.g. iCloud): the secret is encrypted and stored so IMAP can connect.
- For Gmail OAuth, the requested scope includes
https://mail.google.com/so the mailbox can be accessed over IMAP.
You can remove a linked mailbox in Pixr Mail. You can also revoke access in the provider’s security settings (e.g. Google).
6. Google sign-in
Google sign-in and Gmail linking use Google OAuth. The callback is handled at https://pixr.dev/secret/…. Google may set its own cookies on Google sites; Pixr does not place those cookies.
7. Cookies and local storage
Pixr uses cookies needed for the site to work. The services state there are no advertising cookies and no audience-tracking cookies.
- session / sign-in cookies (including the
pixr_ssoSSO cookie across Pixr services) - theme cookie (light / dark / auto), saved if you accept cookies
- cookie-consent cookie, if you accept
- language follows the browser (Accept-Language); Mail/Cloud do not show a language picker
Theme preference may also be stored in the browser’s local storage.
8. Purposes
Data is used to provide the account and services, authenticate, store your Cloud files, access mailboxes you link, secure forms and sessions, and keep the site running.
9. Sharing
Pixr uses identity providers when you use them (Google, Microsoft/Outlook, Yahoo) for sign-in or mailbox access. Aside from that, Cloud files and mail-link secrets are processed to operate the service. This policy does not describe selling data to advertisers.
10. Retention
Account and Cloud data are kept while the account and files exist. Linked-mailbox tokens and secrets are kept while the link remains. Verification and reset codes are temporary.
11. Your choices
- refuse non-essential cookies via the banner (the site still works; the notice may appear again)
- delete Cloud files or a linked mailbox
- sign out
- revoke Google (or other provider) access in that provider’s account settings
- email pixrtmpro@gmail.com about your account or data
